Conservatory ASL Northwest (C.A.N.) is a nonprofit organization and language school based in Great Falls, Montana, that specializes in American Sign Language (ASL) instruction and community engagement.
Existing commercial building owned by the client's father who is retired and has transferred ownership to his daughter. The plan for remodeling C.A.N.'s spatial organization includes a feasibility study for meeting rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and parking lots. The total floor area of the land property is 1,800 square feet, excluding the parking lot with 24 spaces and 2 accessible spaces. As part of the research project, an architect provided conceptual design and analysis, feasibility studies, and logistics for a charette. The construction document project was completed in May 2019.
